• Scheduled preventive visits — Depending on your contract tier, we visit your site quarterly, bi-annually, or annually for thorough system inspections.
• Priority emergency callouts — If something goes wrong between scheduled visits, AMC clients receive faster response times than ad-hoc callout requests.
• Discounted parts and labour — Replacement components (cameras, sensors, batteries, hard drives) are supplied at reduced rates under the contract.

Preventive Maintenance Plans

Prevention is always cheaper than repair. Our preventive maintenance visits follow detailed checklists tailored to each system type:

CCTV Systems

• Clean camera lenses and housings (dust, cobwebs, and insect nests are common in Kenya's climate)
• Verify camera angles and adjust any that have shifted due to wind, vibration, or tampering
• Check IR (infrared) night vision LEDs and replace any that have failed
• Test recording quality on every channel and verify footage retention meets your requirements
• Inspect DVR/NVR hard drive health using S.M.A.R.T. diagnostics and replace drives approaching end-of-life
• Update camera and recorder firmware to patch security vulnerabilities and improve performance

• AMC clients — Response within 4 hours during business hours, next business day for non-critical faults. Faster SLAs available on premium tiers.

SLA Response Times

We offer three AMC tiers, each with defined response commitments:

• Silver — 2 scheduled visits per year, 8-hour emergency response during business hours.
• Gold — 4 scheduled visits per year, 4-hour emergency response during business hours, next-morning response for after-hours calls.
• Platinum — Monthly scheduled visits, 2-hour emergency response 24/7, dedicated on-call technician, priority parts procurement.
