The 6kg ABC Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher is the most versatile and widely used fire extinguisher in Kenya, suitable for combating Class A (solid combustibles), Class B (flammable liquids), and Class C (flammable gases) fires. This extinguisher is charged with monoammonium phosphate dry chemical powder under nitrogen pressure. The 6 kg capacity provides approximately 18 seconds of continuous discharge with an effective range of 4-6 metres, sufficient to tackle most incipient fires before they escalate. The squeeze-grip valve allows controlled discharge for precise application.

The steel cylinder is internally coated to prevent corrosion and fitted with a factory-sealed pressure gauge for at-a-glance inspection. A safety pin with tamper seal prevents accidental discharge.
