The Fire Alarm Cable 2-Core 1.0mm is the standard wiring cable for conventional and addressable fire alarm detection loops in buildings across Kenya. This cable connects fire alarm panels to smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, and sounders — forming the nerve system of your building's fire detection and warning system.

Constructed with 1.0mm solid copper conductors, this cable provides the reliable signal transmission required for fire alarm circuits. The red and black colour-coded cores simplify identification during installation and maintenance. An overall aluminium foil screen with drain wire provides electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, preventing false alarms from electrical noise in the building.

The outer sheath is manufactured from enhanced fire-performance LSZH material, offering improved resistance to flame propagation compared to standard PVC cables. While this cable is designed for general fire alarm wiring, it should not be confused with fire-resistant (circuit integrity) cables, which are required for critical circuits that must survive during a fire.

The 100-metre roll is supplied on a convenient dispenser drum. The cable is suitable for installation in conduit, trunking, and cable tray.
